About Us
Orca Eats is Vashon's food truck, serving seasonal, fresh, real food. We source on Vashon as much as possible, and this year we're growing vegetables, too!

Our home is Fish Bowl Farm, 15 acres of one of the old Island strawberry farms. The farm was a horse boarding, riding lesson, and horsemanship facility for 15 years years, and now there are just two horses in residence. We think of our pasture management practices as "growing grasses," and we work hard to keep it wholesome. The fields are home to critters tiny and small as well as deer and equines. Growing food for humans is a great adventure and important step for Orca Eats. We have a couple hundred tomato plants, dozens of melons, winter squash, herbs, sweet and hot peppers, and cabbage. With reverence for full time farmers, we're excited to put efforts into the soil and plants!

See you around the island!

We utilize wholesome growing practices, and never chemicals. We are the recipient of King Conservation District's manure management award, and we continue to compost manure. We grow cover crops to improve the soil, use water wisely, and coexist with 6-, 4-, and 2- legged wildlife.
