About Us
Matsuda Farm: wildlife, food, history, and trails
Established by Heisuke Matsuda in 1930. The remaining 12 acres and farmhouse preserved forever by the Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust in 2015.
Beginning in 2018, Matsuda Farm grew its first crops in over 35 years. A mix of vegetables are available including kale, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes.

The Land Trust’s mission at Matsuda Farm is to work with the community to integrate wildlands and working landscapes on Vashon by:
· Preserving productive farmland;
· Providing opportunities for public access;
· Maximizing habitat values; and
· Honoring the history of Matsuda Farm.
While not certified organic, we use all organic practices.
